These budget 1.0 inch wheels and tyres are well made with a beadlock rim, wide realistic high grip tyres and a nice weight to them that will help drop the centre of gravity on your crawler truck

Like:
+Look fantastic, lots of colour options
+Tyres are wide, soft, have a great tread pattern
+Rims have a beadlock system and good weight for low CoG
+Pretty cheap at around $20-24 a set
+Included tools are really useful
Don't like:
-Assembly of the wheels with tiny screws can be fiddly
-Shame they aren't included stock with RTR 1/18 crawlers!

I ordered these 1.0 inch Crawler aluminium wheel and tyres set for 1/18 TRX4M SCX24 FMS FCX18 FCX24 Furitek FX118 from Banggood. Use code BGa2c02a to get these for $20

For this quick review I'm looking at a set of low-cost crawler wheels and tyres for a 1/18-1/24 scale RC crawler truck. These feature a sturdy beadlock system where and inner an outer rim held together b 6 small screws force the tyre beads between the rim and a beadlock collar so the tyre cannot slip. Although the included screws are small and fiddly this result in an excellent locking system superior to what you can get with CA glue, especially given tyres are so soft. Tyre inner foam is also included. I built these using the included tools only and used my brushless Furitek FX118 for the build

Pictured are the parts needed to build one wheel - tyre, inner foam, inner rim, outer rim and beadlock collar. There are enough parts to make up 4 wheels
Picture
The screws go through the outer rim into the inner rim with the beadlock collar and tyres beads wedged in between. Tighten until the out and inner rim kiss. Screws are fiddly but there are plenty of spares included
Picture
Here is a built wheel, they look fantastic. No go do the other three....
Picture
Here they are compared to a wheel from the 1/18 Furitek FX118 - same diameter (57mm)
Picture
The new rims on the right are obviously much wider compared to stock Furitek - 25mm and a more agressive tread pattern that extends down the tyre sidewall
Picture
New wheel on the right - see how much more purposeful they look. Wider offset too.
Picture
Stock FX118 plastic wheels is typically light
Picture
These new wheels are almost double the weight which really improves crawling performance

Colour and desing options galore

Excellent crawling rims
The beadlock system is very strong and I haven't experienced any slippage, even with the high-torque brushless motor on the FX118. The heavier rims keep the centre of gravity down and to maximise tyre contract with the ground and obstacles. Tyres are extremely soft and well suited to these lightweight crawlers and combined with the aggressive tread patter make for excellent grip. Check out the video below:

These wheels look great on the truck, bronze (brown) are my favourite

Conclusion
Picture
If you have a small scale crawler around the 1/18 size then I high recommend these wheels and tyres. They are inexpensive and perform really well thanks to the weight and wide grippy tyres. Being made of aluminium they look fantastic and with 7 colours and designs to choose from you can find one to suit your rig. I've awarded them 4.5 stars. I deducted a point only because I had to assemble them myself!
